Middle toe isn't long enough to be a gobbler - that's the key to differentiating it from a hen. The other two toes on a gobbler track typically are "splayed" out more to the side. You occasionally see the "dew claw - back toe" on a gobbler track, especially in the mud, because he is heavier than a hen.
