Actually Seattle a 308 will do the trick pretty much everywhere but those of us that are bitten by gunwriteritis like wacking deer and other animals with anything that's in the gun safe. There are some places where you can get some amazing long shots here and the big boomers are not out of place. I like brushing up with the big cannons and take them to places like Alabama with its liberal bag limit so I can brush up on Deer with them because they are way to big for shooting groundhogs.
