Let me set this straight I am not judging anyones choices in equipment. I myself will probably use my 338 this year on deer along with my 280 . I was just amazed that a scope that has a less than stellar reputation could stand up to a rifle that has tremendous recoil with a muzzle brake to boot on it. Now weren't the Tasco titans made with a titanium tube? They were supposed to be a well made scope and they were not 100 dollar scopes last time I looked at their prices.In any event I was amazed...considering I had a similiar rig 300 win mag winlite with a Gentry muzzlebrake and a 3x9 fullfield II that got scrambled after about oh say 150 round went thru it.
