Default RE: Federal Flight Control with Ported chokes?

ORIGINAL: dubz444

I have been shooting the federal flight controls out of my 835 with a ported choke tube, but ive heard recently that if you use this shell with a ported tube you defeat the whole purpose. I guess the ported tube slows down the wadding and the flight control is suppose to stay with the shot. Anyone know anything about this. To be honest my gun patterend the best with them even with the ported tube, just wondering if it would be better if it were not ported.
What I received from the Federal Company:

OK

Was looking on some Hunting forums and it was mentioned that it is
recommended that Flight Control loads should not be used with ported
barrels or ported choke tubes. Wondering if this is so?

Thanks

I have seen them work in Ported and Unported bbls.It will vary depending
on the firearm.forcing cone.choke system.

Optimal results were in non ported of .665-.670 restriction and they
definitely should not have a wad stopper feature.
