After watching a rimfire match a couple weeks back, I'd have to say Marlin. The match was won with an Anschutz, but by a very slim margin. A guy with a Marlin won second. Unless a person was very, very serious about competition shooting, the difference in price wouldn't be worth the difference in accuracy.
