Default RE: My new bow is going to be....

I took the test as well. Here's is what I found after shooting the Bowtech and Hoyt, side by side. I shot the Hoyt Trykon, Bowtech Allegience and Bowtech Tribute. All 3 shot great, but there were some personal Pro's/Con's on both.

Bowtech- Pro's
1.Lightweight and short
2.Very Quiet
3.No Hand Shock
4.Smooth Draw Cycle
5.Smoking Fast

Con's
1. Squarish uncomfortable handle. It really felt different than any other bow I shot.. in a bad way.

Hoyt - Pro's
1. Quiet
2. No Hand Shock
3. Very Comfortable Handle

Con's
1. The Draw wasn't very smooth. It's was just different than what I'm used to, in a bad way
2. Little bit heavier and bigger. Which is a big downside since I do a lot of spot and stalk and mobility is a big concern.

All in all, both bows were great though. They've sure came a long ways from what my current bow is. And physically I don't really care what they look like, since both of them look awesome to me, compared to the current bow I shoot. Reason I would lean towards the Bowtech is that thepoor Grip can be changed and customized. But thepoor draw on the Hoyt is there to stay.

But I thinkI might justwait another year until the new models come out. Maybe by then the con's won't weight as heavily as they did on both models.
