This is the buck we talked about before. I was asking what size cape would be appropriate, but I now realize it was a silly question as I should just measure the original! I guess a 6.5 to 7 inch cape would do.
Remember I mentioned about the ears and how they distracted from the rack. You could probably see why now. Anyway, I want to emphasize the rack, not hide it. I asked before what kind of form would show them the best. My Dad shot this buck in 1972 and he wants me to use it for my first victim in learning taxidermy. The ears are dry and cracked pretty bad and the eyes and nose are not the best. I hope I can improve on it.
