I'm not saying anybody's wrong.
Hunting turkeys in 5 states I've realized a few things.

Weekends on public landsuck no matter where you are hunting.

You can time when most out of staters will be there after a few years.
PA's first day I was in MD,why-had the woods to myself.
GA's I stay home.
SC's I'm there early.

Most NC guys I've known are here one week then stay home other than sundays.
When they get sunday hunting,things will change a little.
NC's bird population is starting to boom and some may not have to travel in the future.
After week 1 they are gone in areasI see them.

Every place close to a border has issues.
