Default RE: SOUTH CAROLINA HUNTERS

if others think i am a bad guy by trying to protect my state from having to go to a lottery draw just to get a turkey tag like some other states are now. so be it.

I also rather turkey hunt than any other hunting. Thats where MY point comes in. Due to the over abundance of out of state hunters, the quality of hunting in this area has gone to ****. That just doesn't sink in to you.

If it wasn't becoming this way, I would be the last to say something about it.

Theres no way you can see my point unless you have lived here and hunted her for at least a few years now.

And for the "NC hunters". Like i said, all the ones that we had problems with last year were from NC. Most of this comes in play b/c the out of state hunters don't scout the area before they hunt. They just come in and hunt where someone else's truck is.

This isa topic that HAS to be a "bad" thing. Theres no winners in it at all.

As for you and your father. Good luck.. It is also my dream to pull a double with my father. he has never turkey hunted with me. We are supposed to go this year, with his work schedule and church schedule its hard for him to find the time.

Point blank.. I also love turkey hunting and love sharing it. I love getting new people involved. BUT it has come to the point where the quality of the turkey hunting is being driven down do to too many out of state hunters in the area. I don't know of one single person who would HONESTLY say that they wouldn't mind if their state's hunting quality was driven down by too many out of state hunters. You nor anyone else is going to make me change my mind or stand point.

It may make me look like an ass or like i am greedy, but what do you do when you have to win a lotto drawing to turkey hunt at all?
