Ground blind definitely has some perks. I'm just fond of being up high. I thought about buying some of the "cheap" camo burlap and draping around some trees in the thickets. I did this alot when I first started bow hunting as a kid with some success. Never got a kill with it.. in point of fact I have yet to get my first bow kill... but had some deer walk out beside me so close I'd be better off with a baseball bat than a bow. Talk about adrenaline rush.
