Default Conical source

Thanks to Ed Mehlig and Gary (Contendernut), Bullshop will soon have a .410-385, .451-460, and.504-495 moulds (Bob Bowers aka Super91 designed) to fill our orders!!! BIG thanks to those guys! Soon, in this case, means within just a few weeks, hopefully two or three. The NEW bullets are proven performers in any number of appropriate rifles (many Knights will shoot great with those bullets). Some extremely impressivegroups have been fired with them.

For those of you not familiar with Bullshop, his is a family run operation out of Delta Junction, Alaska. I recently ordered 500 of a lubed and sized.451 421 grain conical he was able to make and deliver for atotal cost of $105 to my Missouri location. His prices (subject to lead cost fluctuations) are fantastic and level of quality is quite high.

Here's a link to his pricing http://bullshop.gunloads.com/prices.html. Those prices can flutuate a bit also based upon any special needs (such as an additional sizing effort for my bullets) but they are still fantastic in today's world.

My first attempt at shooting his bullets was a no-counter that some bad scope rings turned into a wasted trip. Second effort with my White 98 was done in a hurry as rain was closing in. The vertical spread in this group of 8 shots can be attributed to not-so-careful thrown charges, not-so-careful seating pressure, and just plain operator error especially with regard to shots 3 and 5. The horizontal spread is only about 7/16" in spite of those negative factors.

These are extremely good conicals even though the original mould was intended to drop a bullet for .458 rifles. Not so with the NEW moulds he will have coming, they are designed specifically for muzzleloaders.

Please check your bore size (land to land) and order that exact diameter or perhaps as much as .001 larger if you wish to try some nice conicals. No custom caster could be responsible for your ordering the incorrect size of bullet.

These should be a great alternative to PRBullet conicals as well as the NoExcuses (or store bought varieties) at extremely competitive prices.
