For tree stand hunting- ~34-31" ATA. with an ibo of at least 300 fps. I'd use a whisker bisquit rest with a savage pendulumn. This is my piney woods set up minus the low ata, mines 36" and that's all I'd change on my set up. It's darn near full proof. If it's within 30 yards- which is easy for me to judge- I can shoot it. The WB rest makes tree stand hunting Sooo much easier.
As far as an all around hunting bow- the other guys seem to have it pegged, as long as money is not an issue that is.
