Default RE: mouth calling

well..i got to that little baitshop/turkey hunting shop today....we have a local company call Talkin Stick...the bait shop is associated with them i believe...they sell their stuff....and they are putting on a calling seminar at the end of the month at the shop......i bought one of their mouthcalls...think its 3 or 4 reeds with an inverted V cut....and bought a Southland (or something south..lol)2 reed call....supposed to be "easy to use and learn on.." the 2reed call sure does blow easy...im still in the same boat as last time i tried.....just something ill have to practice at i guess....i made a few series of half decint yelps while trying not to wreck driving lol....think i got the clucking down...just kinda filling my mouth with air with my lips sealed and letting it out quickly...heck i almost got purrs too...i read another post about purring and was playing with vibrating my tounge...almost got that.....a little practice and purrs and clucks should come.....now for that pesky YELP!...its my tounge pressure and the way i drop my jaw i think...everything says to make a KEEOAK type noise....i can do it fine without a call in my mouth and it seems to be right....now to put it all together.....alot of practice and i should be making some half decint noises before the season.....thanxguys
