My buddy and I will be heading down to the expo at the BPS in Springfield on Thursday. We're heading down from South Dakota, him to look at a college, and me to just go along. We're bringing our fishing poles along. We were thinking of just renting a boat and hitting up the Ozarks, but i guess you need to have some type of boater's papers to rent a boat. I think renting a guide would be too expensive for us. Are there any lakes around Springfield, or even as far as Table Rock or the Ozarks that you can bank fish for bass? We've got bass fever and need to get a line wet. Thanks
