B.S.! It happened to me when I first started using one. I'm sure there are enough hunters with more common sense than you give them credit for when it comes to determining what spooked their deer while drawing back.
I'm sure they all think it was the noise.......I'm sure some were.....definately not all.......and no way to know for sure so no sense arguing about it because it's all opinion.

I don't know about others but if I can see their eyes I'm not drawing.
Well, since a deer's eyes are lateral on his skull and I am about 25 feet up I can always see their eyes.........I guess you could wait for every deer to go stand behind a tree but sometimes there just aint a tree where he is walking.

It's got much less to do with being able to see their eyes............and much more to do with knowing where those eyes are looking IMO.

When I used the Goldtip arrows is when it made the most noise. I used string wax and it quieted it up a bit. Then I switched to the Bemans and the problem was gone. The carbon arrows with no finish are alot noisier than your finished carbons.
I have shot camo finished carbon express, easton epics, and even dull ICS Hawks..........don't recall any noise worth remembering. I will shoot some different arrows when it warms up a little and see if I notice a difference.
