The reason for wanting this, is to muzzleloader hunt during our muzzleloader season and be able to carry the muzzleloader pistol and a muzzleloader rifle into the woods at the same time and if they are close I will get them with the pistol and then use the rifle. Last year I carried two guns in the woods with me at the same time and shot two deer in one night this way.
Anyway that is my reasoning behind this.
