Default RE: Bow for wife

If you were going to get something like that I would get the genisis pro because it has an adjustable stop. However for the same money you could get the Alpine Micro or one of the brownings and they would be a better bow for what you want to do. The genisis is a great bow, but was designed more for clubs or groups of young archers. Sort of like a high tech recurve. Something you can shoot and hand to another person and they can shoot it.

If your wife is for real about wanting to shoot you should get her a dedicated bow that can be set up to her specs and will have enough power to at least target shoot. Not that the genisis doesn't, but it's max will equal the lowest setting on one of the other bows. If you had two or three kids and they all wanted to shoot I would say get the genisis, other wise it wouldn't be my first pick. It was one of the options when my girlfriend was looking at bows and we ruled it out pretty quick.

Best bang for the buck is the Rintec by hoyt in my opinion. My girl is getting antsy to go get hers, but she is just going to have to wait until Friday.
