Do you who carry ona daily basis wear "special" clothing to conceal your weapon? The main reason that I carry my Smith airweight is that it fits comfortably in my boot top. I prefer to carry in my waistband forquicker, easieraccess, but without wearing something like a jacket, I can't completely conceal my gun. Any suggestions?
I won't sayI wear 'special' clothing, but I do make some concessions to concealed carry. I carry mostly IWB. I buy all my pants one size larger...I wear Wrangler jeans, for instamce, in a size 38 waist. I buy 40s. I wear a good gunbelt (doubled cowhide) in all my pants. For casual wear, I dress in pullover shirts almost exclusively. If you buy pullovers that are somewhat heavy, and have a "busy" pattern, any little bulge is much less noticeable. If I do wear a tucked in shirt, I wear a Goodrich & Gould bellyband.
I've carried almost everywhere possible in the last ten years. I've been to symposiums with several hundred people, I've spoken to groups of 100 people or more from a stage, and I've had dealings with LEOs several times, and have NEVER been made.
