Default New guy with Lyman Great Plains question

Hey everyone, new guy here. I have been lurking ever since I found this website a couple months ago, and I am now in the market for a new muzzleloader.

First a little about me, I am 25, live in Wisconsin and have been shooting blackpowder for almost 10 years now. I just have one gun, a Traditions Hawken .50 cal. Its been a great gun, but I am yet to take a deer with it. I just love the old traditional rifles and don't care for inlines. Next year I plan on using my muzzleloader full time for deer during the rifle season and think its time for a new gun.

I have pretty much narrowed it down to the Lyman Great Plains Rifle Left handed, in a .54 caliber. What are your thoughts on this gun, good and bad? I am also still up for suggestions on a new muzzleloader, again looking for a traditional percussion for under $500 and left handed would be a plus, any info would be greatly appreceated.

Also where is the best (cheapest) place to order a rifle and blackpowder supplies online?
