Sorry to say this TeeJay, but that is probably one of the most ignorant things to say, not to mention selfish. With hunting under attack we need as many women and children in our sport as possible. Plus time spent with your wife shooting, hunting, or in the outdoors is quality time together.
My wife and I spend as much time together outdoors as possible, she has become myfavorite hunting partner.
