Well if you are around boise you have a great oppurtunity to hunt some huge mulie bucks during the late archery season... You hunt just below bogas basin... And for elk.. Just drive up to Garden Valley(2.5 hours out of boise) and hunt the muzzelloader season. I can't tell you my archery elk spot... Wouldn't want to see ya up there...... Ha Ha.. Those two places will get you started.. If you hunt rifle season.. Drive towards Mountain Home.. Take the Indian Creek exit.. Head towards the mountains!!! Deer all over the place.
