Frank: The speed check was done on the SuperTec. We were comparing it to another bow of known speed data and wanted to set the other bow at the same draw length to do a better analysis. By using a known comparison, we help to eliminate possible variances in the chronograph. Even though we have an expensive chrono, it's electronic and subject to variances over time. I just don't take the time to have it calibrated - plus it's expensive for the amount of usage. Besides, we know it's relatively close.
Also keep in mind the the SuperTec has the Spiral Cam and 1/2 and not the Cam and 1/2, which is on your bow. I guess I should have checked some of the other bows in the Cam and 1/2 version before making that statement; but, like I said, we find most manufacturers to be up to 3/4" in variance to stated draw length.
I'll do some checking on the other bows and try to report back.
