Default i just read

I just read 9 pages of thread concerning ted nugents ethics with somevery good and some very bad points. i am not posting this to start any arguements, i would just like to share a story.

a few weekends ago i was honored to meet 3 young men whomwere all physically challenged. These 3 incredible individuals were chosen to go to a donated hunt on the legacy ranch. they all harvested deer, and to see the smiles on their faces and the pictures of them with their trophys was a priceless image. This hunt was sponsered by some major companies and was all put together by simple man who is not from tremendous strength nor money. a simple man that wanted to do something good but didnt have the resources himself to do it. While he was not of money nor strength he had courage to pick up a phone and call as many people to help that he could. He was turned down by many and excepted by few. in the end coke cola corportation sent a private jet to pick these great kids up and fly them to the legacy ranch, wal-mart paid a major contribution along with some other companys that were more than happy to donate whatever they could. And this was all done by a simple man with a will. This is story that has touched my heart. You see it doesnt take much to contribute the cause of hunting, all it takes is will. Sometimes the small things are overlooked. If you take a child hunting, teach him the wrongs and rights. the edicate of a hunter, not a slayer you too are doing something for sport of hunting. while it may be a small part the outcome is huge. As far as celebritys hunting, they help and their are many. from rock stars, professional athletes to your president. While all celebrities are looked at closer. some loud, some quiet. they are doing something they are passionate about and trying to help in the way they know how. as far as ted nugent and his ranch, his voulgar ways do not touchthe statement that is made when you shoot your hunting partner without a valid hunting licenes in the public eye. And his ranch, i own 40 acres and can only dream of owning a ranch the size ofteds. fenced in or noti dont think any hunter can say they wish that ranch wasnt theirs. Anyway you look it at it, if you hunt leagaly and with morals and can teach this to another, pat yourself on the back, your doingmore than the guy with video camera.

thanks for letting me share
