Soilarch, I think what he is getting at is that you wrote you wanted a 6mm-08 but a 6mm-08 is the exact same thing as a .243.

Now if you go an AI it or change it in any other way it then isn't a 6mm-08. It becomes something else.

Just technicalities(sp) but that's what gets people hurt with firearms.
