For the money those are two good options.

Also, look at the Stoger's. I've heard A LOT of good things about them and they are cheap. They are owned by Benelli.

Although I like the 3.5'', it doesn't take one to kill a turkey. So, don't let this mislead you.

If I personally had to chose b/t the Remington and Mossberg. I would go with the Mossberg. Their patterns are amazing. I had one, but never used it b/c I love my BPS. I sold it for $200, literally brand new. These are consistantly some of the best patterning turkey guns out of every group. The factory Mossberg turkey choke is the best factory turkey choke on the market.

And if you want to use 3.5'' you have the option with the 835.

The only down fall I would say (my opinion) is that I like using my 11-87 for small game. The 835 was just "too much gun".

I am sure that you aren't looking at the single shots, but this is also a good choice (mostly for turkey hunting). I bought a NEF 10ga to use for this Spring and really like it so far.
