I am seriously considering buying a thomson/center encore rifle. I think it would be great to practice year round w/a .223 barrel(cheap ammo) and buy a .270 barrel for deer season.Don't know why i didnt think of it before! Only problem, I have NO experience with this gun. How accurate is it? How long does it take to change barrels? When you put the barrel back on, will it still be sighted in?

P.S. I will NOT use this gun as a muzzleloader. Just in case anyone asked.
