I assume you will weight them after the cut and post the results? That would be interesting.
Another update:
When I first weighed these 12 arrows they had a 1 grain spread on weight right out of the box (meaning plus or minus .5 of a grain). Well within limits. Just last night I cut 1 inch from nock end of all 12 arrows. I reweighed them all and now only have a .5 grain spread in weight (that’s plus or minus .25 of a grain for the dozen). Awesome! I have not cut from tip end yet because I’m waiting to get my G5 squaring tool in the mail today. I want to square the nock end before I measure and cut the tip end of arrows. This info has taught me the importance of cutting from both ends. I will report back when I complete the arrows.
