I used some Citrus Orange, Degreaser andCleaner. This worked great in addition to a 50/50 mix of Windex / IPA. This cleaner is made by Zep and does a good job on the range swabbing between shots or during final clean up. I used it exclusively during clean up and it got out all the nasty in the barrel. The cleaner leaves no residue after swabbing with a dry patch after. It did an awesome job of cleaning the breech plug. I soaked the plug for a minute or two and wiped it off. Thought about trying some Simple Green to see how that worked. You can get it at Home Depot. I think they even come in a small convieneint container. Thought I'd pass it on. Any little bit helps.
