Hey Sgt i use an eye bolt just a small one and it works great. YOu dont have to worry bout the arrow falling off the rest or anything like that. Now the two main downsides to this are if you have an older bow and its not a cutout riser for center shot your shots will tend to drift rigth for a lefty left for a righty. You just have to adjust your aim this i know first hand and it still works great ok. The second thing ive found as a downside is every once in a while the string will wrap around the rest causing much confusion..lol if you make the hit....also first hand experience....lol but other wise it works very well........
