i'm considering something in .25 cal , and thought the old roberts might be an interesting toy to play with. i want something for pigs, goats etc.

my questions are two fold - 1) who chambers for this round ( i know ruger do in a timber M77, but not aware of any others ) and 2) i want some info from anyone who's had a bit of experience with this round.

i don't want a 257 weatherby, but would the 25-06 be a better bet?
