3D Depression-
It is all about shot placement. I usually head shoot all of my hogs, large or small.
Here most all wild boar is shot at either drive hunts or baits at night in only moonlight. Most recommend baiting to be doneat some 60 meters from the blind, since the boar have a good sence of smell.I would feel very uncomfortable to take headshots at any of those circumstances. I guess things are done differently here, and the law still dictates that wild boar is aclass 1 species and therefore must be shot with class 1 weapons.
I hear of many animals thatgo somewhere around 80-150 meters after a solid lung shot but what makes people go for bigger cartridges here is probably the reputation of the pigs being dangerous (OK, they can be but still). I just love hearing about you guys using weak guns and bows!
10-4? is that what the swedish ice hockey team beat USA with in the olympics?
