Default RE: Gold Tip Weight Results

I have also found the same results with the pro series gold tip arrows in at least the weight department. My pro 22's after fletching and cutting are all either 355 or 356 grains. The whole dozen weighed in perfect. With the 65 grain screw in I have in them, they are sooooo stiff I don't think spine tolerance even matters.........lol. They all spun excellent as well once I trimmed off the front and back, I never spun them though before trimming.

My XT hunters though are a different story. I did see 5-6 grain differences between these arrows. They were pretty straight, but then again I trimmed off front and back before checking. I probably won't use the green label shafts anymore.

My plans for this year are to buy another dozen pro 22's, and make 3 of them up for open stakes with mini blazers and 80 grain glue in points w/ the easton 2114 uni bushing and super g-nocks, and make the rest for the short stakes w/ 4" vanetec's, and the 65 grain screw ins. I will also be using the pro hunters I think for hunting this year.
