RE: Scent Control
Got busted by the same deer 3 years in a row. Wore the suit and killed it. Wore the suit this year and killed the one that was with it the year before. We have few deer in this area, hunting pressure is high, the land I killed them on is small and very difficult to get into unnoticed, and as far as I can tell these were the same animals. The one I killed this year was with 2 others (won a contest with it). They never new I was there even after getting down and whistling to get them to leave, One came directly at me, down wind, looking for what was there. Literally knew something was there and could not detect me. Before the suit it was very tough to get close enough to them. I put the suit to the test this year to see if it would still work and it did. Will try again next year. Unless deer begin to talk it's the best proof I have and when it seems to not be a factor I'll stop using it, maybe. Without the scent control they are still a quality garment and worth what I paid. Very wind resistant and I believe that is part of the scent control. If wind can't get in stink can't get out. Others I hunt with feel the same way and they killed more than me.They also hunt where the deer are plentiful.
