Good point but it should be noted that out of the 12 Hoyt bows I have owned now that was the first time I have had to use customer service....<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

I was a little surprised too. I expected new cables before the week was out...but nothing more initially. If it was found that the bow had more damage after the cables were installed then the bow would have been shipped back for Hoyt to make the decision.
