I have a 45cal ML and I took a nice five point
buck in 2005 with it. I was shooting the 195gr.
powerbelt aero-tip with 100gr. pyrodex. The bullet
killed the deer just didn't leave any blood trail.
But the 45 will put a deer down but shot placement
I believe is more important using the 45.
