I used to build Hawken rifles it was taught to me by an old gunsmith, the way he showed me was to use polishing compound rubbed into a greased patch,DO NOT OVER DO IT,50 ROUNDS IS NORMALLY ENOUGH.Also JB's bore paste is the same thing ready made. Clean well immedately after shooting. Good luck Lee
