Your initial post in that old thread made it sound like you took advantage of that guy because he was going blind, which is why some on here (including myself) answered your post the way they did. I understand that later you made it clear that you actually knew the seller and he wasn't concerned with the money and knew you would put it to good use. That was fine and I think everyone then realized what was going on.
If you had never brought that up again, I feel certain no one else would either.
