Watch the wind. Ducks land into the wind so set your dekes out accordingly. Typically a "U" shaped pattern is used with the curve of the "U" pointing into the wind. This leaves the space in between for the birds to land. Another way is to set your decoys to the upwind side of you. If the wind is blowing left to right, put your decoys on the left, and vice versa. Just make sure you leave room for the ducks to land. If you have a robo duck, place it right in the middle of the landing hole. Any other questions let me know.
