The best thing you can do if you want to hunt a lot is to start your own business which will allow you to duplicate yourself, i.e., franchise yourself. Robert Kiosaki (don't want to take the time to pull his book to spell it correctly) has written many bestsellers about how to become financially successful, starting with "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" ... which is what you'll have to be to have control of time and money.

Read "Cashflow Quadrant" where he outlines the difference of owning a business and being self-employed. If you take a vacation, and your cash flow stops, e.g., doctors, accountants, dentists, etc., it's harder to "get away" to find hunting time.

Short of that, outside sales is the best job you can have which will afford you the most time. You'll work hard, but you can slip off and put your cell phone on silent and sit in your tree stand and nobody knows.
