RE: dont laugh
Welcome Kel; I was introduced to Archery by my husband. I spent a few years shooting 3D trying to perfect my skill. I had a great teacher in my husband and my local Archery club was a fountain of knowledge and inspiration to me.The folks at the Archery Club always seem more than happy to help out a fellow archer. And yet I am still learning new things everyday, and sometimes I still have to learn things the hard way, by making my own mistakes. I hope you also can find a good bunch of people in your area to help you out.And if the hubby is a experienced bow hunter you have a live in teacher.JRW made a good point , leave the checkbook at home, until you know if what they are trying to sell you is really what you need. This board is a great place, you can learn alot here, I still do all the time. Good Luck and Happy Hunting
