Last year during muzzleloader season I saw a white yearling. I say "white" because I didn't see any brown spots at all, but I was too far to tell if it was a true albino. It had a full grown brown doe with it. I watched it for about 15 minutes as it fed off. Never offered me a shot, but I wouldn't shoot a yearling albino deer anyway. A mature doe or buck would have been shot by me though. Definately a trophy to me.
I never saw it again last year, and I figured it didn't survive because if it color.
This past weekend I let my brother in law sit in a stand about 150 yards from where I was last year and he seen a white doe (I think it was the same one.) This one had a brown patch on its right rear ham. I think it was the same one.
I was glad to hear that it made it through last season.
