RE: Black Knight 2 questions
<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote<font size=1 face='Verdana, Arial, Helvetica' id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>
I currently have a Legacy and love the bow. Of course, being an avid archer I want 2 bows and was considering a 2003 BKII outfitted with a Muzzy Zero Effect rest. My questions are:
1) Are the dual cams hard to tune and do the require more tuning/maintenance then a single cam?
2) Does this bow get more vibration, jump than single cams?
3) Is the bow quiet and is it as accurate as my Legacy?
4)With option 2 and the longer brace height, is it still forgiving enough to hunt with?
5) Anybody don't like yours or had bad experiences with the bow?
Thanks.

I'll try to answer your questions the best I can.
With the quality of the strings and cableing being used frequent tuning is really a non issue. After the initial shoot in you may have to tweak one cable or another but then you should be good to go. The 2003's are supposed to have cable tuners so it will make the tuning even easier.
For a speed bow the BK2 is a VERY smooth shooting bow. I don't think you'll hear too many argue about that either. As far as more jump that's going to vary from one persons opinion to another but I feel that most any single cam will have more jump than a dual simply because the dual has two eccentrics moving in sync with each other versus a single cam ecenntric moving by itself kicking the bottom limb out (with the exception of a Patriot or Legacy) and the idler has no thrust or movement other than going around. I hope that all made sense to you.
Either brace will be plenty forgiving to hunt with and of course the taller brace being more forgiving. Just make sure if you wear bulky clothes to wear an armguard to keep the sleeve out of the way. I wear one with my 7 1/2" brace bow wen I wear a heavy coat.
The bow can be as quiet as anything on the market but really depends on the set up and accessories you put on it. Will it be as quiet as a Legacy out of the box?...I doubt it (I've never shot or seen a Legacy shot) but I can pretty well be sure that it will not be quite as quiet as a Legacy...
I hope that helps you with the information you wanted....
