RE: Iowa deer hunters
Don't know what part of IA you are from. I live in Shenendoah in Fremont county in the SW corner of the state. Saw the 1rst all out battle between bucks opening day on the 1rst. Also have seen buck activiely chasing does here for a week. I have a scope set up in my sunroom and I watch the deer a half mile back along the river bottom in the corn every night I can't hunt. There was a 3-way buck fight last night and another buck making a rub. A lot of activity. There is a 140 class in our fence row that I am waiting to get rut stupid. Saw him the other morning while on stand but 200 yards off.
