I have recently just read a book about tanning hides. It doesn't sound too difficult, just time consuming. My goal is to take a bobcat, and tan the hide to make a small rug, similar to a bear skin rug. Anyways, I'd be interested in getting any kind of advice I can from those with experience in this area.
