RE: rem 1187 or stoger 2000
I am a big fan of remingtons and have shot an1187. But I have also shot a stoeger 2000. Depending if you are going to only turkey hunt only or not. I shot 100 low brass dove shells through a stoeger and it never jamed. It also patterned very well. The 1187 is also a very good gun that patterns very well but is a bit more costly. But you will have a better selection of aftermarket products. But still if I was you I would go with the Stoeger 2000.
