I'll hunt in a light rain. I'll hunt in a near downpour during the rut. But a few years ago, I could've just about stepped off of my treestand when the wind blew the tree towards the ground!

I STILL stayed put . . . until the lightning started all around me.
For turkey hunting, I've had absolutely zero luck in the rain --although I've heard a lot of gobbling on the roost at thunder. Consequently, the sound of heavy, or even steady rain on the roof when the alarm goes off makes me roll over and get some much needed additional shut-eye.
