My grandpa use to hunt coon alot. We had family fish-fries and family coon-fries. I was a kid so I didn't know better, but I liked it. Can't remember what it tasted like but remember that Lanse is correct its reddish. I would gladly try hunting and eating them again...but I don't have any dogs, and that's not something you can get into half-cocked. Its gotta be all or nothing.
