When I wash my carbon stuff I hang it on hanger on the back porch or in the garage to dry. When dry I spry it down with white lightning or carbon blast and let that dry before throwing it in my rubbermaid tub. In a pinch-like next day hunting-I dry it with earth scent dryer sheets and then hang it oustide overnight after spraying with carbon spray. That has pretty much eliminated the first day post wash problems for me.
