Man, you want to talk about collisions!!! Playing about half of the game while seeing starswas the norm. It's hard to explain but it's a totally different game than how it appears through the TV. It's 100% more violent than you think. The amount of damage you cause to your body on any given Sunday is staggering. I would start the season with all 10 fingers intact by the end at least halfwere broken.We just taped it to the next finger and kept going. No splints, no casts (unless the bone was sticking through the skin or a compound fracture) just tape.

The injuries and operations I have had to live with since hanging em up I wouldn't wish on anyone....but if I had to do it all over I would in a second!
