Default Question about deer meat.


Hi I got my first mule deer this season. It was back sometime in November I think the 7th or something. We have had it cut into strips for jerky, etc. but we haven't taken it into a butcher to have the meat actually made into jerky. We have the meat in air tight bags. There issome ice in the bags. Is the meat still okay to get jerky made out of it or is it finished.
